Our client, a well-known company in the energy sector, is looking for a committed and reliable buyer (m/f/d) for the location in Düsseldorf.
Ihre Aufgaben: Ensure best value-for-money procurement, maximizing business and project value
Overall sourcing responsibility, amongst other things for specific tender strategies, supplier invitation & selection, negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts
Deliver efficient and effective procurement operations while ensuring compliance
Support and challenge business colleagues across all countries to ensure best commercial outcomes in alignment with Business Solutions Team within the Procurement Organization
Systems & tools accountability for all sourcing activities using SAP & SAP Ariba for tenders
Actively manage suppliers ensuring competitive contracts and reliable supplies
Contract & Claims management where required
Ihre Qualifikation: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the energy industry and/or procurement
Background in procurement or experience with technical components & services is a plus
Proven ability to manage large procurement projects and/or tenders
Experience with SAP Ariba and relevant platforms (e.g., eVergabe)
Ability to effectively manage a wide range of stakeholders, their varying requirements, and cross-functional overlaps
Strong analytical skills and a drive for performance improvement
Creative, open-minded, and adaptable, with a positive attitude
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in international teams, with an appreciation for cultural differences and flexibility regarding international travel is a plus
Fluency in English and German is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
