(Senior) Purchase Manager (m/f/d)
External Manufacturing Operations
Key responsibilities for this role include::
* Responsible for strategic sourcing of 3P contract manufacturers and
contract developers to ensure continuous, high quality, compliant,
cost-effective product supply.
* Managing key supplier relationships including leading regular comprehensive
business reviews with key suppliers, identifying opportunities to improve
delivery and performance, and driving excellence and flexibility of execution
to support supply chain ruggedness and optimize commercial opportunities
* Identifying and lead the mitigation of risks in the 3P external
manufacturing network by continuously benchmarking key products against
internal network and other 3P options.
* Supporting all Global processes and policies, including BCRA, CFA, SNC,
LCM.
* Leading and managing relevant portions of Vertical processes, including
tracking of key metrics and KPIs
* Collaborating with Vertical supply chain partners for key issue escalation
and resolution to support continuity of product supply, support various
budget-related activities.
* Partnering with key stakeholders, business unit management and vertical
stakeholders to manage supplier relationships and deliver the highest value
possible from all 3P contract manufacturers in Life cycle management project,
Tech-Transfer, Process and manufacturing adaptations, packaging changes, API
(Active pharmaceutical ingredient) and Excipient changed.
* Keeping current on best-in-class sourcing management processes and
techniques onwards.
* Supporting all Mylan Quality and Regulatory initiatives, including supplier
audits, occurring at or in conjunction with Third Party Manufacturers located
in the region.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in the field of Business or Pharmaceutical
Engineering or Pharmaceutical Degree
* Minimum 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in a
supply chain or sourcing (A combination of experience and/or education will be
taken into consideration.) or equivalent high regulated industries
* Experience in product supply chain, regulatory channels and processes, and
new product launches
* Problem solving skills, hands-on mentality
* Fluency in German and English (written and oral)
